In June of 2016, Newport Trade Services was selected as one of the initial start-up companies into the Rocketspace Logistics Tech Accelerator out of San Francisco, CA. Newport Trade was selected to harness it's vast knowledge in global cross border movements and create a solution to help an on-line retailer identify a better way in managing it's many foreign retailers and their inbound shipments.

Wade Gerdemann - Founder and Chief
Founder and Chief, Wade Gerdemann, started his logistics career in the U.S. Military in the early 1990's and hasn't looked back. With varying assignments across the supply chain (manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, domestic & international transportation, logistics procurement, and customs/trade compliance), technology and process optimization have always been a passion for Wade.
Wade's formal education consists of a Bachelor's Degree in Transportation & Logistics from Iowa State University, and then a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. As the former Global Director of Customs & Trade at Ford Motor Company, and a Global Trade Manager at Gillette and Procter & Gamble Manager; Wade's depth and breadth of trade organizations, programs, processes and technologies, having designed, implemented and managed both global and domestic customs and trade technology initiatives, along with complex supply chains; will add great value and support to create your global business effectively and efficiently.
